Tika's Body shop is designed by Katika in the Bronx to provide everyone with  an  alternative to pricey chemical filled body moisturizers and body scrubs.  My moisturizers are created with organic raw un-refined Shea butter, Raw Coco butter and other natural ingredients. 

 As a person with sensitive and acne prone skin I was disappointed by the products on the market, most are filled with chemicals that irritated or damaged my skin, so I started this company for many like myself. 

Shea Butter, commonly known as Karité, is derived from the Shea Nut Tree (butyrospermum parkii) which grows in the western region of Africa. The fruits of these trees contain a nut. In the traditional method of extraction, the shea nuts are dried and ground. The powder is then boiled in water to release an unctuous substance which rises to the top and solidifies to create Shea Butter (Diop). This butter has been used for centuries in Africa to moisturize and protect the skin from sun, wind, heat and salt water.

Raw Cocoa Butter is derived from the cacao bean, It is extracted using a method of cold pressing, where the butter is separated from the cocoa.  This cocoa butter can then be used as a natural moisturizer or can be put back together with the cocoa powder to create a luscious chocolate Scent.
